Astara: The body of missing fisherman Turan Hasanov has been returned to Azerbaijan, APA's southern bureau reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, on December 19, 2025, information was received regarding the discovery of a body in the Iranian territory of the Caspian Sea.

During the subsequent investigation, it was identified that the body was that of Turan Hasanov Eyvaz, born in 1997 and a resident of Shahaghaj village in the Astara region.

Negotiations took place to facilitate the transfer of Hasanov's body, and today, it was officially returned to Azerbaijan.
