Border-Crossing Procedures to Be Simplified Along ‘North-South’ Transport Corridor

Baku: Border-crossing procedures along the ‘North-South’ international transport corridor will be simplified, APA reports. This development was highlighted in a communiqu© issued after a trilateral meeting involving Azerbaijan, Iran, and Russia, focusing on cooperation in transport, energy, and customs.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the communiqu© also stressed the importance of digitalizing transport, border, and customs operations along the corridor. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the corridor, facilitating smoother transit and trade activities among the involved countries.
