Baku: The British oil and gas company bp does not schedule the suspension of platforms in the Caspian Sea for planned maintenance work as part of its operations in Azerbaijan, head of the press service of “BP-Azerbaijan” Tamam Bayatli told journalists, APA reports. She stated that there are no plans to halt any platforms this year.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, bp operates two major hydrocarbon projects in Azerbaijan – the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) oil and gas field block and the Shah Deniz gas-condensate field. Production at ACG is carried out from the Chirag, Central Azeri, West Azeri, East Azeri, Deepwater Gunashli, West Chirag, and ACE platforms. At Shah Deniz, gas and condensate production is conducted at the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms.
