Baku: BP, as the operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) oil field and the Shah Deniz gas field, has today renewed its contract with Turan Drilling and Engineering Company LLC - a joint venture between SOCAR AQS and the U.S.-based Helmerich and Payne (HandP) - for drilling rig operations and maintenance services on the platforms, BP told APA-Economics. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the renewed contract covers operations and maintenance works at eight BP-operated oil and gas production platforms in the Caspian Sea. These platforms include Central Azeri, East Azeri, West Azeri, Deepwater Gunashli, West Chirag, Chirag, ACE, and Shah Deniz Alpha.
