BP to Expand Investment Opportunities in Caspian Region


Baku: BP plans to expand its investment opportunities in the Caspian region, said Russell Morrice, BP’s vice president wells, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Trkiye region, at the “IADC Drilling Caspian 2025” drilling conference held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Morrice highlighted BP’s ongoing commitment to the Caspian region, emphasizing the company’s active development efforts and maintaining a high pace of work. He noted that while the ACG field block is experiencing a natural decline in production, the potential of the Shah Deniz field is being fully utilized.



Morrice also mentioned BP’s plans to launch new projects, which aim to expand the company’s investment opportunities in the Caspian region. This move is expected to bolster BP’s presence and influence in the area, aligning with its long-term strategic goals.
