Brent Crude Oil Surpasses $83 for First Time Since Mid-June

Baku: Brent crude oil futures for September delivery on London's ICE exchange have surged past $83 per barrel, marking the first time since June 16 that the price has reached this level. As of 21:12 Moscow time, trading data indicated a rise of 9.22%, with Brent priced at $83.02 per barrel. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the upward trend continued as by 9:23 PM Moscow time, Brent crude accelerated its rise, trading at $83.47 per barrel, reflecting an increase of 9.81%. In parallel, the price of WTI crude oil futures for August delivery also saw a significant rise, increasing by 9.79% to reach $78.4 per barrel.
