According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Samir Rzayev, Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), provided a detailed briefing to President Pellegrini at the airport. The briefing covered the operational and strategic significance of the Fuzuli, Zangilan, and Lachin international airports, highlighting their roles in enhancing Azerbaijan's connectivity and economic development.
President Pellegrini's departure was overseen by a delegation of high-ranking Azerbaijani officials. Among those present were Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Emin Huseynov, the Azerbaijani president's special representative in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts.
