Baku: Bulgaria has been designated to chair the 29th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) in 2027, as announced during the 28th Annual Meeting held in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the recent meeting, chaired by Azerbaijan on July 1, involved an evaluation of the BSTDB's activities for the year 2025. Additionally, the financial statements for the bank were approved, and discussions were held regarding the budget for 2026.

The meeting is set to continue on July 2 with a Business Forum under the theme "Connecting Markets and Diversifying Economies: Azerbaijan as a Regional Hub."
