Baku: “We are conducting research on the application of artificial intelligence in the transportation sector,” Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), said this in a statement to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Fariz Jafarov detailed the ongoing efforts in collaboration with various state institutions in Azerbaijan, notably the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The focus of the research is on the application of artificial intelligence specifically within the transportation sector.

Efforts are centered on utilizing technological tools to address traffic-related challenges. These include identifying traffic congestion, opening new routes, and managing transportation effectively.
