Hanoi:Prime Minister Hun Manet has expressed support for Azerbaijan's bid to attain observer status in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) during joint press remarks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Prime Minister Hun Manet emphasized the significance of enhancing Azerbaijan's ties with ASEAN, highlighting the importance of international cooperation.

He further stated that the current global situation has become increasingly complex, underscoring the necessity for collaboration between regions and countries. In this context, Cambodia and Azerbaijan's commitment to strengthening their partnership is seen as a positive step towards fostering multilateral relations.
