LONDON — Mazahir Panahov, the Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission, announced that preliminary election results and the names of leading candidates will be disclosed on the evening of the election day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Panahov explained that the initial results announced would be based on protocols received from district election commissions within two days following the election. He highlighted that these results would be preliminary, with the final confirmation and official results to be submitted to the Constitutional Court after thorough verification within a 20-day period.
