Azerbaijan Election Commission Confirms Participation for All Citizens Including Armenians in Khankendi


LONDON — During a recent press conference, the Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC), Mazahir Panahov, clarified the voting rights for citizens of Armenian origin residing in Khankendi, ensuring that all eligible voters could participate in the upcoming elections.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Panahov emphasized that ethnicity would not restrict any Azerbaijani citizen’s right to vote, stating that anyone with an ID card would be allowed to cast their ballot. The CEC has made comprehensive arrangements to facilitate the electoral process for all registered voters.
