Celebrities to Engage with Book Lovers at Azercell’s Literary Evening


BAKU: Azercell, a leading mobile operator, is set to host a literary evening aimed at connecting celebrities with book enthusiasts as part of its “Book Club” initiative. Scheduled for October 25, the event will feature contemporary writer Jeyhun Hidayatly, narrator Khazar Suleymanly, and screenwriter Azer Aydemir, who will lead discussions on modern Azerbaijani literature.

According to Trend News Agency, the evening will spotlight Hidayatly’s novel ‘?qr?b’ (Scorpion) and its television adaptation ‘?qr?b Mövsm’ (Scorpion Season), offering attendees an opportunity to explore these works in depth. Participants will also include members of Azercell’s “Book Club,” who will enhance the event by narrating excerpts from Azerbaijani literature available via the Bookmate and Litres apps.

The initiative underscores Azercell’s commitment to preserving Azerbaijan’s literary heritage, providing a platform for literary discussions and promoting the works of Azerbaijani writers.
