Seoul: As part of the working visit to Korea, an Azerbaijani delegation led by Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the Central Bank (CBA), met with Rhee Chang Yong, Governor of the Bank of Korea and Chairman of its Monetary Policy Board. During the meeting, the discussions revolved around monetary policy and financial stability, payment systems, sustainable finance, as well as experiences in applying technological solutions and approaches in the financial sector.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the two central banks exchanged views on expanding cooperation, focusing on the sharing of experience and knowledge. The discussions aimed at leveraging technological advancements to improve financial stability and enhance payment systems in both countries. The meeting highlighted the importance of sustainable finance and how technological solutions can be integrated into the financial sector to achieve these goals.
Both parties expressed a keen interest in learning from each other’s experiences, particularly in the application of innovative technologies in monetary policy and financial systems.
