Antalya: 'Peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia will make a significant contribution not only to the South Caucasus but also at the global level,' Vice President of the Republic of Trkiye Cevdet Yilmaz said this in a statement to APA's correspondent dispatched to Antalya. He emphasized that the existing positive political atmosphere should be utilized at the highest level, expressing hope that the final stages will be completed and that lasting peace will be achieved. Yilmaz highlighted that a certain political atmosphere has already been formed, and with the full establishment of peace, the South Caucasus will enter a new environment, benefiting everyone. He noted that Karabakh is being rebuilt as part of Azerbaijan, with large investments made and significant work carried out, marking considerable progress in the region.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Cevdet Yilmaz emphasized that Trkiye, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the South Caucasus region as a whole will benefit from the peace agreement. He further mentioned the importance of the Zangezur corridor, stating that the peace will strengthen the connection between Azerbaijan and Trkiye, while also reinforcing ties between Europe and Asia.
