Baku: The Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, is set to depart for the United States on October 1.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the visit comes at the invitation of the Community of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Stirling Foundation.
The schedule includes Pashazade’s visit to Utah, where he will engage with state leadership and participate in several events. The agenda extends to Washington, where meetings with religious-related organizations and members of the Senate and Congress are planned.
Additionally, Sheikhulislam Pashazade is expected to meet with officials from the United Nations, and the heads of organizations such as “Religions for Peace” and the “Call to Conscience” Foundation in New York.
