Nakhchivan:Javid Aghamaliyev, the Chairman of the Board of Nakhchivan Agroservice Open Joint Stock Company, has been arrested. Aghamaliyev's arrest follows a decision by the Nakhchivan City Court, which has imposed a four-month pretrial detention measure on him.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Aghamaliyev is suspected of embezzling state funds. The prosecutor's office detained him as a suspect, and he has been charged under Article 179, which pertains to embezzlement, of the Criminal Code.
