Baku: 'The topic we are discussing today is violence against the Sikh community. This is not confined to India alone; India is now attempting to extend this violence to other countries as well. The primary reason for this violence is to suppress the Sikhs' political will and their movement for Khalistan,' stated Bhai Moninder Singh, Chairman of the Sikh Federation, at an international conference 'Racism and Violence against Sikhs and Other Minorities in India: The Reality on the Ground,' held in Baku.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Chairman noted that the conference aims to draw attention to the extreme violence perpetrated by the Indian state. This violence is intended to keep communities under pressure and subject them to suffering.
