Baku: A delegation led by Lieutenant General of Militsiya Ivan Kubrakov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit. The visit was confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as reported to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Ivan Kubrakov and his delegation paid their respects to National Leader Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honor. They also laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Victory Park to honor the martyrs, demonstrating recognition of significant historical figures and events in Azerbaijan.

The visit included a meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov. The discussions focused on cooperation in law enforcement, particularly in combating transnational organized crimes like narcotics trafficking, human trafficking, illegal migration, and cybercrime. The Azerbaijani minister emphasized that tackling these issues effectively requires collaborative efforts.

Lieutenant General Ivan Kubrakov expressed his appreciation for the meeting and the hospitality extended by his Azerbaijani counterpart. The visit concluded with the signing of a protocol on mutual cooperation between the two countries, marking a step forward in their bilateral relations.
