Baku: ‘Membership in the ASOSAI Board of Directors is both a trust and a responsibility for us,’ said Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts, during the 62nd meeting of the ASOSAI Board of Directors in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Gulmammadov expressed that hosting the event in Baku is a source of pride and responsibility for Azerbaijan. He highlighted the Chamber of Accounts’ commitment to studying and applying international experiences, enhancing the exchange of knowledge and information, and fostering regional cooperation. Gulmammadov remarked that election to the ASOSAI Board of Directors signifies a trust and responsibility for more active future participation.

Gulmammadov further stated that expanding the exchange of knowledge and experience among supreme audit institutions will facilitate a more systematic approach to establishing cooperation. He also discussed the public financial management reforms carried out in Azerbaijan and the significance Azerbaijan places on international cooperation.
