Baku: Colonel General Karim Valiyev, First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, engaged in telephone conversations with his counterparts from Trkiye and Hungary, as well as received support from Saudi Arabia.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions with Army General Sel§uk Bayraktaroglu of Trkiye and General Dr. G¡bor B¶r¶ndi of Hungary were initiated by the Turkish and Hungarian sides and aimed at enhancing military cooperation and addressing regional security issues.

The conversations also covered the recent attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles attributed to the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, targeting civilian infrastructure in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. The Chiefs of the General Staff underscored that such actions violate international law.

General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Saudi Arabia, communicated through the Kingdom's military attach© in Azerbaijan, expressing condemnation of the attacks and a readiness to support Azerbaijan as needed.

Colonel General Karim Valiyev conveyed his appreciation to his counterparts for their support and solidarity.
