Baku:A delegation from the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) visited the ASAN Khidmet center to learn about its operations.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the group, comprising researchers and young policy experts from CICA member states, received detailed insights into the ASAN Khidmet centers' activities. These centers were established under the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev and focus on innovative projects in public service delivery and social innovation.
The delegation was informed about several prestigious awards received by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations, which manages these centers. The agency was honored with the UN Public Service Award in 2015, a UN Special Award in 2019 for digital governance, and was named 'World's Most Advanced Public Service' in 2023 by the Global Government Excellence Award Program.
During their visit, the CICA delegation also explored other significant initiatives such as the 'INNOLAND' Incubation and Acceleration Center, the 'ABAD' public legal entity, and the Mobile ASAN Service, all of which contribute to the agency's innovative approach to public service.
