Baku: "Azerbaijan successfully led the transformation process of CICA during its chairmanship and made significant contributions to the organization's sustainable development," Zhang Ling, Deputy Secretary-General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), said at the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, APA's correspondent dispatched to Shusha reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Zhang Ling expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its innovative approach aimed at strengthening the organization's role in the region. During Azerbaijan's chairmanship, the country successfully led CICA's transformation process, contributing to its sustainable development. Zhang Ling highlighted the achievements made under Azerbaijan's leadership, which will be comprehensively assessed at the 7th CICA Summit scheduled for October 15 in Baku.

The upcoming summit is anticipated to mark a new stage in the organization's development, with expectations to further strengthen cooperation among member states. Zhang Ling emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan's innovative strategies in enhancing CICA's regional influence and the significance of the forthcoming summit in Baku as a milestone in the organization's progress.
