CIS General Prosecutors Hold 35th Anniversary Meeting in Dushanbe

Dushanbe: The 35th anniversary meeting of the Coordination Council of General Prosecutors of the Participating States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) took place in Dushanbe, as reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting was attended by heads of prosecution bodies from the CIS member states. The Republic of Azerbaijan was represented by a delegation led by the First Deputy Prosecutor General, Elchin Mammadov. The delegation also included Sanan Pashayev, Prosecutor of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Teymur Garayev, Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor General for Special Assignments, Talib Jafarov, Head of the Criminalistics and Information Technologies Department, and Babek Zakirzadeh, Deputy Head of the Department of International Legal Cooperation.

During the visit, Elchin Mammadov held a meeting with the Prosecutor General of Tajikistan, Habibullo Vohidzoda. The discussions highlighted the friendly and mutually trusting relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, which are underpinned by historical roots and shared values.
