CIS PA Representative Confirms Transparency of Azerbaijan’s Elections

BAKU — The recent parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan adhered to international standards of transparency, as confirmed by Andrey Yatskin, a representative of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States. This marked the first elections held across the entire territory of Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the CIS observation mission monitored 145 elections, noting that polling stations opened on time and an "exit poll" was conducted in one location. He emphasized that Azerbaijan's election legislation played a crucial role in ensuring the transparency of the electoral process.
