CIS Representative Lauds Elections in Azerbaijan’s Liberated Territories

BAKU — The recent parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were hailed as a significant event for residents of the country's liberated territories, according to Sergei Khomenko, a representative of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the CIS delegation, comprising 14 members from Belarus, observed the elections in several regions, including Fuzuli, Shusha, and Khankandi. He described the elections as a celebration for the local population, noting their transparent and secure execution. "These elections were a kind of celebration for the population living in the liberated territories," Khomenko stated, underscoring the participatory and exemplary nature of the process.
