Vatican city: Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, met with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, the Head of the Holy See and the Catholic Church, during a visit to the Vatican. The meeting took place on February 9 at the personal invitation of the Pontiff, as reported by the Press Service of the Caucasus Muslims Office.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the audience was attended by several leaders of religious communities in Azerbaijan. Among those present were Vladimir Fekete, Ordinary of the Roman Catholic Church's Apostolic Prefecture in Azerbaijan; Milikh Yevdayev, Head of the Mountain Jews Community in Azerbaijan; Robert Mobili, Chairman of the Albanian-Udi Christian Community; and Zamir Isayev, Head of the Baku Religious Community of Sephardic Jews.
