Baku: The co-chair of the Joint Commission on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Austria in the areas of economy, agriculture, industry, and technology has been reassigned. This development is part of an amendment to the Presidential Order titled ‘On approval of the new composition of the Joint Commission between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Austria on cooperation in the fields of economy, agriculture, industry, technical and technological areas,’ signed by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the position of co-chair, previously held by the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, will now be occupied by the Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport. This change highlights a shift in the leadership structure of the Commission.
Furthermore, the new composition of the Commission now includes the Deputy Ministers of Culture and the Deputy Chairperson of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In contrast, the First Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Airlines Closed Joint Stock Company has been removed from the Commission’s composition.
