Baku: The EFES-2026 multinational joint exercise in Trkiye saw the successful completion of a critical coastal assault from the sea, as reported by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense to APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the exercise involved military personnel from various countries executing a coordinated coastal assault. The operation began with groups on high-speed boats approaching the positions of a simulated enemy along the coast. These groups, supported by intense fire, landed ashore, navigated engineering obstacles, and neutralized defensive positions swiftly.
The operation resulted in the complete clearance of the coastline, thereby ensuring safe conditions for the landing of amphibious forces. This successful execution of the coastal assault was a key component of the EFES-2026 exercise plan.
