Baku: The completion of the construction of the “Aghband-Kelaleh” highway bridge over the Araz River, as well as the construction of border checkpoints, will strengthen trilateral relations, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this development was highlighted in the Communiqu© on the trilateral meeting between Azerbaijan, Iran, and Russia, which focused on cooperation in the fields of transport, energy, and customs.
The communiqu© emphasized the significance of completing the construction of the “Rasht-Astara” railway line. This includes the establishment of the relevant railway terminal, which is a crucial component of the corridor, to fully leverage the potential of the “North-South” international transport corridor.
During the meeting, the participants reiterated the importance of the “Aghband-Kelaleh” highway bridge construction over the Araz River, alongside the development of border checkpoints, as pivotal in strengthening the trilateral relations between Azerbaijan, Iran, and Russia.
