Baku: A special working group on road transport, consisting of representatives of the customs, border, and transport authorities of Azerbaijan, Iran, and Russia, has been established, APA reports. This development is part of a broader cooperative effort to enhance transit transportation across the three nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the formation of this working group was confirmed during a trilateral meeting focused on cooperation in transport, energy, and customs. The meeting resulted in an agreement to create a special working group dedicated to road transport, which will include representatives from the customs, border, and transport sectors of Azerbaijan, Iran, and Russia.

The meeting also celebrated the signing of the statute of the trilateral working group, which aims to facilitate collaboration among the customs authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Russian Federation. This initiative is expected to promote transit transportation and streamline processes across the involved countries.
