Baku: The composition of the Coordinating Council on Transit Freight Transportation of the Republic of Azerbaijan has changed, APA reports. This change is part of a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree stipulates that the Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding (AZCON) has been added to the Council, while the Director General of ‘Baku International Sea Trade Port’ Closed Joint-Stock Company has been removed. This adjustment is expected to impact the strategic planning and implementation of transit freight transportation in the country.
