Turkmenbashi:President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the significance of transport collaboration between Central Asia and Azerbaijan during his address at the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Central Asia.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the crucial role of the Caspian Sea in facilitating transportation between the countries. He pointed out the importance of transport infrastructure on both sides of the Caspian Sea in linking Central Asia with Azerbaijan and extending to international markets.

The President also noted a significant increase in cargo transit volumes across the Caspian Sea, underscoring the shared objective of enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of these transport routes.
