Baku: The Global Baku Forum once again confirms Azerbaijan's commitment to open and constructive dialogue, Costa Rica's First Vice President Francisco Gamboa stated during the opening ceremony of the 13th Global Baku Forum, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Gamboa expressed that it is a significant honor for Costa Rica to partake in the Global Baku Forum. He extended heartfelt gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the warm reception, underscoring Azerbaijan's dedication to fostering open and constructive communication amidst the complex challenges currently faced by the international system. Gamboa emphasized the forum's strategic importance in promoting dialogue and cooperation.

Gamboa highlighted the current global climate, characterized by escalating geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainties, and a crisis of legitimacy in multilateral institutions. He noted the crucial role of the platform provided by Azerbaijan and the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, where participants with varied ideological, political, economic, and geostrategic viewpoints can converge, rebuild trust, and collaborate on solutions that are mutually advantageous.
