Council of Europe began confidence-building process between Azerbaijan and Armenia

We have started negotiations with Azerbaijan and Armenia to build confidence between two countries, said Marija Pejcinovic Buric, Secretary-General of the Council of Europe while delivering a speech in the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), APA reports.

According to her, there are unsolved conflicts in some member countries to the Council of Europe.

Secretary-General noted that the Council of Europe’s unimpeded access to these regions is important for the monitoring process.

Marija Pejcinovic Buric has noted that confidence-building measures are one of the main factors for the solution of the conflict between parties and works in this direction will be continued unless both countries object.
