Baku: The date for the Cabinet of Ministers to report to the Milli Majlis has been changed, APA reports. This change is part of recent amendments to the constitutional law concerning the Milli Majlis’s right to address issues of confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev approved the law titled ‘Amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Additional Guarantees for the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Exercise Its Right to Address the Issue of Confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.’ Under this law, the Cabinet of Ministers is now required to report on its activities during the spring session of the Milli Majlis each year by March 31.
