Defense Ministry and AIR Center Release Report on Azerbaijan Army’s Peacekeeping Operations

Baku: The Ministry of Defense and the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) have jointly presented the "Report on the Azerbaijan Army's Peacekeeping Operations" as part of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the two institutions, according to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense as reported by AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event saw participation from officials of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Milli Majlis, the Security Council, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Center of Analysis of International Relations, along with representatives from think tanks and media outlets. The presentation was a collaborative effort by the Center of Analysis of International Relations and the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense.

During the presentation, speakers highlighted the professionalism, discipline, and responsibility exhibited by Azerbaijani servicemen in international missions, gaining recognition from partner countries and international organizations. They emphasized that these operations not only fulfill Azerbaijan's international obligations but also enhance its status as a dependable partner, boost its global standing, and open avenues for international cooperation.

The achievements discussed were attributed to the extensive military reforms and modernization efforts led by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev. Furthermore, it was noted that the state is committed to further developing the capabilities and operational readiness of Azerbaijan's peacekeeping units to tackle future challenges effectively.
