Baku: A delegation led by Brigadier General Md Mostafizur Rahman from the National Defence College of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has arrived in Azerbaijan as part of the Study Tour Abroad program. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan informed APA about the visit, which is focused on exchanging insights in military education development.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the delegation was welcomed by Major General Arif Hasanov, Deputy Rector of the National Defense University (NDU) for Science and Education. During the meeting held at the NDU, the Bangladeshi representatives received a comprehensive briefing on the university’s history, educational system, and the significant reforms implemented in military education within the Azerbaijan Army.
The discussions between the Azerbaijani and Bangladeshi officials revolved around mutual interests aimed at advancing military education. Brigadier General Md Mostafizur Rahman also marked his visit by signing the ‘Book of Honor’.
The delegation further expanded their knowledge by visiting the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev. Here, they were presented with detailed insights into the institute’s establishment history and its primary educational activities.
The meetings concluded with an exchange of gifts and a joint photograph, symbolizing the goodwill and cooperation between the two nations in military education.
