Deputy Heads in Azerbaijan’s Presidential Administration Granted Eligibility for Diplomatic Passports

Baku: Deputy heads of departments or equivalent structural units within the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan will be eligible to obtain diplomatic passports, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this provision is included in the amendments made to the ‘Law on Passports,’ approved by President Ilham Aliyev. The decision marks a significant change in the diplomatic privileges extended to senior officials within the Presidential Administration, potentially enhancing their ability to conduct international duties more efficiently.
