Baku: Friendship ties between Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus are growing stronger, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Fikri Ataoglu said at a press conference held in Baku on the occasion of Northern Cyprus Culture Day, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Fikri Ataoglu emphasized the significant role of interparliamentary cooperation, mutual visits, and joint projects in deepening the relations between the two regions. He mentioned that these collaborative efforts are pivotal in strengthening the ties that bind Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus, highlighting the foundation of cooperation being the close relations between their peoples.
Ataoglu also noted that the leadership of Northern Cyprus places special importance on advancing these relations and is committed to ongoing activities in this domain. He affirmed that alongside Trkiye, Northern Cyprus is dedicated to expanding connections with friendly and brotherly nations, expressing optimism that the partnership with Azerbaijan will continue to grow in the future.
