Digital Cadastre System to Transform Sheki’s Yukhari Bash Reserve

Baku: The creation of a digital cadastre system for the 'Yukhari Bash' State Historical-Architectural Reserve in Sheki has begun, as announced by Gulnara Aliyeva, director of the Sheki State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration. This announcement was made during the 'Digital Transformation in Cities' event, part of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the digital cadastre system is being implemented to enhance the management of the reserve area. Gulnara Aliyeva explained that this new system will facilitate the collection and organization of information regarding land plots, buildings, and ownership forms within the reserve on a unified digital platform.

Gulnara Aliyeva emphasized that the implementation of the digital cadastre system will enable more effective management of the historical reserve. It will also contribute to the accurate and transparent formation of a comprehensive database. She further highlighted the project's significance in improving urban management and preserving the historical and cultural heritage of the area.
