Khankendi: On September 11, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan visited the Khankendi sewing factory, where they were briefed on the facility. The visit highlighted the significance of the factory in promoting economic and investment cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Khankendi sewing factory was established following the directives of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. The joint venture aims to create new opportunities for the development of Azerbaijan's light industry while also strengthening the longstanding friendship and economic partnership between the two nations.

The project's initial investment totaled AZN 6 million. Joint industrial cooperation is focused on ensuring a steady supply of raw materials for the factory. The facility utilizes locally sourced raw materials, as well as materials from Trkiye, Uzbekistan, and China, contributing to the sustainability and efficiency of its operations.
