Diplomatic Corps Visits Garabagh University Clinic in Khankendi

Khankendi: Members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan recently visited the Garabagh University Clinic in Khankendi, as well as the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, to gain insight into their operations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, foreign diplomats were provided with an overview of the faculty's offerings. Dean Samir Babayev highlighted that the faculty's academic building is outfitted with cutting-edge facilities, including 10 classrooms, 9 lecture halls, 3 laboratories, examination and study rooms, recreation areas, libraries, and briefing halls. The facility also boasts microbiology and histology laboratories, along with various administrative offices.

The modern educational model set to be introduced at the faculty will enable students to translate theoretical knowledge into practical skills at the Garabagh University Clinic. Additionally, students are afforded extensive opportunities for research and leadership development. A unique aspect of the faculty is the inclusion of an arts program as an elective in the curriculum.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, joined by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, also toured East Zangezur and Garabagh.
