Baku: The Distinguished Visitors Day of the multinational joint special forces exercise, Eternal Brotherhood – IV, was held in Baku with the participation of special forces from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Qatar, Trkiye, and Uzbekistan. The event, which took place on September 15, was announced by the Ministry of Defense to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, alongside other senior officials from the Ministry. High-ranking delegates from the participating countries and military attach©s accredited in Azerbaijan were also present.

Initially, information was provided on the general progress of the exercise, the purpose of the upcoming tasks, and the sequence of their implementation on a model of the area. Subsequent operational tasks were carried out at the training ground in coordination with other types of troops.

The exercise concluded with parachute jumps featuring the flags of the participating countries. The Chief of General Staff praised the progress of the exercise and the combat readiness of the military personnel, extending his best wishes for their future service endeavors.

The exercise was highlighted for its strategic significance in terms of exchanging experience, enhancing skills in coordinating joint operations, and reinforcing international security and regional peace through joint special operations conducted by allied and friendly nations’ special forces.

The Chief of General Staff presented gifts to representatives from the participating countries. The event concluded with a concert program for the participants. Notably, delegations from Belarus, Italy, and Hungary participated in the Eternal Brotherhood – IV exercise as observers.
