Fuzuli: Restoration and reconstruction works in the village of Dovlatyarli in Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli district are progressing rapidly. The project covers a total area of 323 hectares and is being implemented in two stages, according to the Head of the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the districts of Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand, Leyla Sarabi. She shared this information in a statement to journalists, APA’s local correspondent reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the first stage of the project involves the construction of 450 private residential houses on a 137-hectare area. These houses will feature 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-room configurations, with the total residential area amounting to approximately 40,000 square meters. Alongside the residential buildings, the village’s social infrastructure is being developed. This includes a full secondary school for 360 students, a kindergarten for 120 children, a medical station, and an administrative and multifunctional building. Additionally, a boiler system for the school and kindergarten, transformers, and other engineering facilities are part of the plan.

Furthermore, all main utility lines are being laid during the first stage. The project already comprises a 15.6 km internal road, a 42 km 35 kV power line, a 45 km 0.4 kV power line, a 74 km communication line, a 15.6 km water supply line, 17.8 km of gas pipelines, and a 12.7 km sewerage system, ensuring comprehensive infrastructure development for the community.

At the second stage, plans include the construction of 269 private residential houses on a 186-hectare area, bringing the total number of houses in the village to 719 across both stages. This stage also encompasses the development of public and commercial buildings, a sports and wellness center, a market, a fountain, and a car service station. Future expansions aim to introduce multi-apartment buildings and public catering facilities.

This extensive project is being executed in full alignment with the modern infrastructure concept of the Fuzuli district, adhering to ‘smart village’ principles. The overarching goal is to create modern living conditions and facilitate the socio-economic revitalization of the region.
