Baku: An earthquake was recorded in Lerik district, 23 km southeast of Yardimli station, the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the bureau reported that the earthquake was not felt by residents. The 3.1-magnitude earthquake occurred at 16:03 local time at a depth of 19 km.
