EBRD Announces Over 3.6 Billion Euros Investment in Azerbaijan Projects

Baku: The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced a significant investment of more than 3.6 billion euros across over 200 projects in Azerbaijan. These projects encompass a range of sectors including infrastructure, energy, industry, banking, and private enterprise development, as highlighted by Alkis Drakinos, EBRD Director for the Caucasus Region, during his address at the ‘StrategEast: Eurasian Forum on Government and IT’ held in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the EBRD has invested a total of more than 210 billion euros and undertaken over 7,500 projects across 42 countries. In Azerbaijan, the EBRD operates through a representative office staffed by a team of 16 professionals, dedicated to ensuring the successful implementation of these investments.
