Baku: The Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy is tasked with implementing financial assistance measures for utility services consumed by entrepreneurs in industrial parks within Azerbaijan’s liberated territories. This directive follows Part 1 of Decree No. 2131 issued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on May 1, 2023, which focuses on supporting entrepreneurs engaged in production activities in these areas starting from January 1, 2023.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Cabinet of Ministers has formalized this decision, ensuring that entrepreneurs receive the necessary financial support for electricity, natural gas, water supply, and wastewater disposal services. This initiative aims to facilitate the economic development and revitalization of the liberated regions by reducing the financial burden on businesses operating in these industrial parks.
