Egypt: Egypt achieved a significant milestone in machinery manufacturing exports last year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Egyptian Engineering Export Council reported that the country exported machinery and related industrial products worth $6.5 billion in 2025, marking a 13% increase compared to $5.7 billion in 2024.
Council Chairman Sherif El-Sayyad highlighted that the strongest growth was recorded in the export of tools and equipment, which rose by 30%. Other key industrial categories also demonstrated notable expansion, including electrical and electronics products (23%), automotive parts (15%), household appliances (15%), and vehicles (14%).
Azerbaijan was among the countries where Egyptian machinery exports recorded the most significant growth, alongside Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Senegal, Zimbabwe, and China.
