EIA increased its forecast for global oil production

Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the US Ministry of Energy increased its forecast for daily global liquid hydrocarbon production in 2023-2024, APA-Economics reports citing EIA’s monthly report.

It is estimated that the daily global production of liquid hydrocarbons will be 103 mln. barrels on average next year, which is 0,43 mln. barrells more than the previous foecast.

According to the report, daily global production of liquid hydrocarbons will be 101,3 mln. barrells in 2023,which is 0,2 mln. barrells more than the previous forecast indicator.

The daily global production of liquid hydrocarbons was 99,88 mln. barrels on average last year, the report notes.

Note that the daily global production of liquid hydrocarbons was 95,7 mln. barrels on average in 2021. The daily global production was 93,84 mln. barrels in 2020. This indicator was 100,61 mln. barrells for 2019.

Taking into account the EIA data, it can be concluded that the daily global production of liquid hydrocarbons will surpass the pre-pandemic level this year.
